Why Heavy Loads Change the Whole Specification
On a light dial table, the indexer is a positioning device. On a glass tempering line, a ceramic press or a bottle-cap machine, it becomes a structural element: it carries the fixture, absorbs the overhung load, survives three shifts and still holds position after millions of cycles. That is the difference between a general-purpose indexer and a heavy duty cam indexing drive.

Positioning indexing accuracy holds at ±30 arcsec across the range and the longest rated life is 60,000 hours. Because the drive carries the load directly, the built-in reducer also lets the builder downsize the servo motor — a measurable energy saving on continuous three-shift operation.
DB Series: When Height Is the Constraint
The HBY-DB heavy duty cam indexing table uses a cylinder-type design to deliver the same load class inside a height-restricted envelope, with eight or more workstations at ±30 arcsec positional accuracy. It is the usual answer for glass processing machinery where a platen housing will not fit under the fixture.

Most heavy indexing stations need more than a table.
