Working Principle

As the input shaft rotates, the globoidal cam's curved rib engages the output turret's needle rollers, advancing the table one station. During the dwell phase, the flat cam section seats against two rollers to lock the output. This cam-and-roller engagement is purely mechanical, requiring no brake or holding current.
